HANDCRAFTED HARDWOOD FURNITURE
This expensive hobby started 13 years ago when I took an intro-level woodworking class and confidently told the instructor that I would build a credenza as my first-ever project, to which he replied, “No. That's too much for a beginner.”
Never one to listen to the words “no” or “too much,” I stubbornly power[tool]ed up the steep learning curve, and I now have a beautiful credenza. That I will be buried in. Beneath a tombstone that reads, “Her perfectionism finally got the best of her.”
