PHOTOGRAPHY-DRIVEN ART DIRECTION
I help clients create strong visuals with concise language that quickly communicate their brand messaging and project theme. In the case studies below, I was hands-on throughout the entire process, from sketching the visual concepts, to shooting the photography, and then designing brand aesthetics for use in print and social media.

DANIEL ORTEGA STUDIO
Daniel Ortega is a furniture designer who draws inspiration from Mexico’s rich cultural heritage, incorporating intricate patterns and locally sourced materials. I photographed his pieces and designed promotional materials to help build his brand.

DENISA ZAIONCIUC
Denisa is a creative director and painter. Her beautiful artwork is meticulously painted in oil and enlaced with resin. She and I often do photo shoots together in play and practice, fine-tuning our artistic visions and collaborative spirit. This series is an exploration of typography and color palettes combined with my photography.

TELUNAS RESORTS
I shot location, lifestyle, and interior photography for Telunas Resorts in Indonesia for their website and magazine ads. I directed the models and set design during the photo shoots. I also supplied sample layouts as a suggested style guide for their marketing team.

THE SCHEHERAZADE PROJECT
Aneesa Shami Zizzo is a fiber artist who is currently creating a series of abstract-expressionist collages as an ongoing exploration of orientalism in Western media, specifically in National Geographic magazines. I designed these promotional layouts and the project logo with the intention of repurposing the iconic Nat Geo cover as a visual way to tease the contents of the art, which are torn pieces of the magazine. She and I will continue creating interpretative photography as an offshoot project that parallels the progress of her Scheherazade collages.
