Stacey Meineke grew up in Houston, and after graduating cum laude from Baylor University, she moved to New York City to pursue the arts, working as a 1st assistant camera in the film industry and as an event photographer. The East Coast winters, however, were too brutal for her Southern blood, so after three years in the Frozen Apple, she moved to sunny Los Angeles where she now freelances in advertising as a graphic designer, production artist, and photographer.
Stacey's pursuits in various visual media have landed her at several high-profile studio networks and ad agencies such as Fox Television, Sony Pictures Entertainment, NBC, The WB, Variety Magazine, Deutsch Inc., and TBWA\Chiat\Day, among others, where she worked on accounts for Google, United Airlines, Volkswagen, Chase, Guitar Center, Pop Chips, Fresh & Easy, Proctor & Gamble, and more.
Through diligently pursuing her various interests, life has surprised Stacey with equally varied adventures. She attended a celebrity wedding in Beverly Hills, piloted a single-engine plane over the Hollywood sign, caught a shark in New Zealand, jumped off a frisky horse in Puerto Rico, worshipped with a Maasai tribe in Kenya, declined a marriage proposal from silk salesman in Morocco, turned clay on the wheel of a legendary potter in Turkey, and rode a dolphin underwater in Mexico. Stacey has learned chasing experience rather than career is where creativity truly thrives.
